Aeroports or precision ports will gain an average of 2 - 3 db's. If velocity profiles are perfect...then you can gain an easy 5 - 6 db's over the vents. I'm doing a certified 154.7 with 2 10's in street A with precision ports.

its pvc pipe flared, you can buy them like that or make your own

I use a router on the part exiting the box and a dremel on the part inside the box to give a little curve then some fine grit sandpaper.
