My sub is sitting in the rear wheel well bolted down to that piece of flimsy cardboard type shit under the carpet to cover the spare but when I make a turn that shit just basically gives,so what to do to make this shit stay in place.

screw thru to the body of the car, wall thickness of your box + 1/2" or so.
