slc 265's in a explorer

im looking to get a set of slc 265's and was wondering if i would run into any problems putting them in my explorer. i know that the cutout is 5x7 so im going to make a 3/4" ring out of mdf so that i can fit the 6.5's. would i have any problems with depth? i looked on their website and couldnt find a mounting depth. also i would be powering them with a Phoenix Gold R8.0:4 and their going to get at most 200 watts per side, any suggestions on how much power i should give them?125?150? or all 200?thanks

you should be fine. you tell us if you run in to problems..

would 150watts per side be too much for them or should i do 125

they'll take the 150 make sure you properly set the gains on your amp tho
