i dont understand what is up with the 70 degree angle... you've got 2 20 degree angles to make the plain parrellel. eh, but cool box. what type of table saw did you get?
I've been sick as a dog and since I have to work on it in an unheated garage it's on hold.
quest51210, It's going in my beater truck. I was just itching to try my new saw. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
nathanh, bassbox tried to tell me to cut 3 pieces with the angle (top, front, and bottom). I only cut the front at a 20 degree angle. (FWIW, it's going to be up against my seatback, hence the slant.) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I doubt your saw will cut a 70* angle, most only go to 45*. You do not have to adjust the angle of the blade, or move the fence to the other side. They will fit together nicely by cutting them both at the same angle.
Sorry to take so long. I was sick for awhile, plus it's been frigid cold out.
Go easy on me, this is only my second home made box. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Don't laugh at the sub/amp either, it's my winter beater truck! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
The whole goal was practicing box building, plus wanted to try out my new table saw. Add a little bump to the truck, without wasting a ton of cab space.
