Very nice... if we could get some more talented guys to start working on designing speakers etc... we could come up with a very nice collection of plug-in components to make life easier for all as they work on their builds in this program.

much easier on the computer than solidworks, but i still prefer solidworks a bit if i have time, but sketchup is definately an easy program, can built a box 10x as fast as solidworks.

My only complaint is how can i get it to display the units as decimals without converting to feet? like 23.5in instead of 1' 11 1/2" ?

Not certain on how to change that, though... you may be able to find somethign on it if you check out the tutorials. The measurement is just about the only downfall to the program IMO, but it is simple enough for anyone to use and makes a really cool layout really simple

i would if everything didn't use standard, i'm comfortable with metric, but since most things are listed in standard, i go with whats easy, no use converting the cutout diamter, port diameter, and board thickness when i could just use what they're already in

the inventor of the metric system only did so that he wouldn't have to deal with fractions anymore, and i don't blame him.

u can change it, ask pv audio to tell u how. if anything double click it, and type it yourself.

Here's a free plan for a 12" XXX. It was going into my Kia when I had it, but I made 2 mistakes: I didn't make sure that it would fit through the opening of my trunk, and I had Home Depot cut the pieces for me.
