is there any way to set up sketchup so that every line drawn will be a certain thickness? i.e. so that every panel drawn will be 3/4'' thick? thanks

IIRC you can not, but you can make a rectangle and push/pull it to 3/4"(making a 2d object 3d)

when i do mine i draw the rectangle the use the push/pull tool to move it a little bit and then i just type in 3/4.
