Skeptical about the BL!!!!

What's the difference betweena flatwind coil and the regular coil? I heard there wasn't going to be a "day and night difference" with any of the options offered, so i really don't wanna pay more if there isn't major use. I read their thread, but how does the cooling work? i also heard most of the options are intended to better-perfect a sub in SPL, not much for daily.

Flatwind does add a little more power handling to the sub, not too mention that they are a larger OD coil and it will increase the motor strength.

Actually most of the cooling options are intended for daily where the woofer is moving a good amount helping with cooling.

So If you want daily Id get all the options.

Yea, to some extent. But then again when it is in a DD application, it's beating all the time. You have to think about that too.

I wouldn't be skeptical about the BL, from Fi's rep, it probably will do what it says it will do.
