Skar MA-8 break-in tips

Picked up a pair of MA-8's and i plan on drivng them at 1ohm with a ED NINE.1 amp..so 600w each. Just wondering how i should go about breaking them in. This is something I never do...i just bang hard from day one so i figured i would try and do it right this time. Ive heard of guys running them on home systems at low power and sound for several hours just to get the cone moving and the coil warm but dik. What do you folks think?

break in is a myth, just put them in on a properly setup amp and play them!

Meh I would just play them dude. No real need to "break in". I ran a ab xfl on 2k out the box. Ran like a champ. Hit high numbers too

Cool thanks guys, my last ED 15's i just banged from day one but this is my first set of subs this small and this type of set-up. So screw it...play em hard!

playing them hard is breaking them in isnt it?
