Had my 3 vvx 10's v1's @.67 ohm on my pair of 2500's and they were still going 2-3 years later till car was broken into an stolen.. I dnt know much about the ZVX's but if anything like the ole vvx's then 3k should be fine assuming you watch the knob....

of course, i try not to abuse my equipment to much. i dont want to kill the the sub, just beat on it alittle lol

im about to start working on trunk build. I could do the 18 but i dont feel like going through the trouble lol. so someone has a Skar ZVX 15" so i figured id trade him probably this weekend

I heard that. 18 in a trunk a pain in the ***. I have 15"

No I never metered it just was my daily. So low man. Lowest setup I've had. I was impressed just off 2500 watts. Flex doesn't mean anything out my impala doors would move out a half inch. 26-36hz it crushed those

sounds nice. I usually tune around 37hz because it gives me a good medium for daily/spl. it will let play pretty low also allowing me to meter pretty well when i do go to the ocasional comp.

Dnt think I abused them as I feed them correctly and was responsible with the volume knob.. Id toss a zvx in place of my TRF without a blink.. I think with care the ZVX would be fine in my setup on the other hand I know my TRF can handle it. Worth a shot if it lets loose just recone an try again..

Right. I've seen vids of them take 2500 RMS or more each. I'm going to make sure I have it scoped when I'm done to help make sure it stays happy.

Oh yeah i understand that. I never look for numbers anymore myself. I think i remember you having the hdc3. This should sound a lot better.

Yea I had the hdc3 in a blazer. It sounded pretty good and metered pretty well for what it was. This will also be a daily SPL mash up lol. Make it sound good as I can while still maintianing a decent termlab number lol
