Trying to make my mind up on what subs to run I hear a lot of good reviews about them.... what are some other subs in that price range that will out perform skars? HELP! Skar Audio VVX series!

several head turners/reviews indicate that ssa icon/dcon/xcon,are some of the chosen for the money. if you can locate some old school re,and or cerwin vega stroker,to me,have heard,and sound fantastic with raw power.these are of opinion of course,others may recommend differently.

In the 2 years I've been in Car audio, I've used a Kicker CVR (nooby days), Alpine Type R (loved) then upgraded recently to my VVX15 and I absolutely love it, obviously Kevin they won't suggest going over rated (600) but I'm pushing mine almost double rms and it does not bottom out on the box size, nor has it messed up due to being over powered.

Sundown SA line.. Z line, AQ hdc3 Copper and Alum. DD, AA, DC, Atomic, obsidian, Fi. All are comparable in their own ways, It all depends on what you want. All of them listed have thier sq/sql lines and their spl lines. Its your personal prefference

i been running 2 skar vvx 12's for a little over a month off skar 1500d, and I love the way they sound. I have had aq hdc's, fi bls, dc level 4's and all. But I wanted a 600rms sub and these have been great, I have box tuned to 30hz, and they play everything great
