Ok, CLEARLY from the past evidence within this forum, Kevin has messed up. He sold less than exceptionable quality boxes (several years ago). He claimed his parents vehicles were his own (several years ago). He messed up time and time ago, but doesnt this sound like something a teenage does? I mean I know I told white lies every now and then as a teen (Which claiming your fathers lambo as your own is indeed a white lie, it hurts noone.) And all you "Holy-er than thou" have also lied, stolen, cheated. If you claim you havent done any of those through your entire life, then I am willing to say your lying now.
So Kevin sent B-stock subs on "accident". He did offer to replace them at his cost for shipping both ways. Seems to me this guy has matured a bit and has succeeded in establishing a very decent audio business, but you fellows refuse to allow his past to be just that. IM SURE as a business owner, he regrets his mistakes, hell it definitely hurt his wallet because more of you would be rocking SKAR. As for EDITING and not deleting? I agree, its messed up! But clearly Kevin is a guy who learns as he goes. I for one, as a paying business owner, would have considered just editing out the bashing portion before rationalizing.

Point being, why attempt to ruin someone? Your not just bashing Kevin, your steadily working towards taking out his business, and from what I can tell, the subs he produces are of great quality and have tons of potential. You don't have to like the guy, you dont have to buy from him, but you also dont have to run his business into the ground because of your dislike for him.

Instead, he finds ways around his problems, such as ignoring them, changing the subject, etc. I have no respect for this kind of pussy shit. He is a legitimate scumbag. I could care less if his business died because there is so very little that separates it from Obsidian/Sundown that it wouldn't matter to the audio industry.

Search button is your friend. You will find all you need to know about him. Yes he is still in business "runs a few I think".. Seems like a prick to me but then again I dnt know the real him just the internet him.

I dnt agree with how Kevin has handled alot of situations he puts himself into but I have no personal issue with him. I sent him money he sent me subs. Bout as smooth as you can expect. Only thing I dnt get is I thought Skar started out to be a provider for low cost quality products. Like there subs I would not pay SSA prices for them "thus the reason I talked to kevin to get a legit price" but they are cheap for what u get then out of no where he starts doing amps and they are so far from cheap its not funny. Based on the prices you would think Jacob had personally dragged his sack across each one to up the value. Thats not a jab at Jacob as I respect him and his prices are on par with the CS and performance you get.

Example - the new 2500 is going to sell for $790??? Who in the hell is going to pay that kinda money for a 2.5k amp??? Really its so high its funny...

Please do tell what makes this guy such a "legitimate scumbag"?? Maybe I just don't find myself to be "better" than everyone else.. Maybe Im just not a internet bully, OR maybe its that Im just not jealous of his success. Idk what the deal is with you people and your hatred for this guy, but its not even boarderline childish. Its down right ridiculous. Unless your willing to open your closet and expose all of your skeletons then just get a life and let him make f*cking subs.

It's the potential and current customers that keep a business alive. If he has done wrong then he should know that word of mouth travels far and carries a serious impact on his business because of his actions. That's customer service 101 man. Don't hate on the people that have experienced issues with him before and choose to voice it because they want to look out for the next guy.

You will grow to learn that some people have nothing else worthwhile going on in their lives that they must try their very hardest to deface others.
Kevin has admitted, and apologized for ALL of his wrong doings and offered a remedy to the problem every time. This has already been brought up on this failure forum multiple times with the same result every time. He would need to hire a personal **** sorter to go through and apologize on his behalf for every idiotic time this **** was brought up.

People who do business with us are ALWAYS happy with the CS we provide and I will continue to make that happen on this site, regardless of the trolls who lurk around every pixel on this website.....

This is exactly my point. your feeding the masses for no reason.

You encourage this bad reputation, new ppl come in, read about the terrible sub boxes he sold in 2009 when he was probably 17 years old, read the bashings from people like yourself who have no dealings with him at all and bam. Business is closed. I fail to see how this is fair in any since of the word and makes any of you better than the 17 year old selling sh*tty enclosures.

I dont know this guy, we have never been bar hopping together. I just talked to him long enough to pick up some subs, and he seems to be a cool dude. Why trash someone because the older folks around here hated the way he built sub boxes and claimed his daddy's lambo for his own?

He still hasn't answered about the contest money though. I'm also pretty sure I got B stock subs too at team price since there was CA glue smeared over the dustcap on one and the surround on the other. Wouldn't they want the team to have the best looking subs?

Shitttttttttt it would be ******* impossible to get ANYTHING because just about EVERY company has messed up!. I've seen Jacob hate threads, DC Hate threads, all of that. The only difference is that the people around here act like they get paid to help show how much of a "scumbag" Kevin is. Yet everyone who deals with us is a very happy customer.

I agree that one would assume that you would want your representing team to have the best display. But personally if I aquired subs at team prices and the largest issue was glue.. Id use some finger nail polish remover and be pump'd for one hell of a deal! =) I do realize that not all people are like me tho and look at the cup as half full, and for those people I have seen kevin offer to replace B-stock's at his cost.

I havent really been able to find any info on this contest and that is indeed a good question. From what I have gathered, it was a youtube contest?? Also, Id like to point out that my uncle once won a contest in a magazine for some invention idea.. anyways he learned that hard way that if there were no set stipulations, the person running the contest makes the rules. What Im getting at is that unless Kevin stated something like "One lump sum within 30 days of end of contest" (which he very well may have, I cant find any info about this contest), then he can pay out $10/year and still be upholding his end of the bargain.
