Sirius Static

ok Im installing sirius stiletto to my car. I used the all teh wires . And with the FM extender it has TERRIBLE static. without it i get alot of static at high volume. then i relized im getting static on all my radio stations. So i unplugged the power from the ciggerette lighter. And as soon as i get rid of that. My static goes away. As soon as i plug in my plug the static comes back on just reg radio stations. Sounds like a ground problem maybe with the radio/Cigerette lighter?

What type of vehicle is this in? Are you trying to use the wireless fm modulator or did you buy a wired one?

its wireless. but id on thtink that has anything to do with it. Cause minus the sirius radio all together. if i just plug the power cord in. No power even going threw it or even connected to anything. It makes the radio go from really clear to unlistinable. So im guessing its a electrical problem,
