I've had my Sirius tuner box for my deck since summer of 06. Recently I've been experiencing like static on all channels. When I throw in my CD it is crystal clear. It is more like distortion. Anyone know what is causing this? And how can I fix it?

Do you have a loose connection to the antenna, or is the feedline pinched anywhere?

I never touched my antenna since it has been installed. It is installed thru my 3rd brake light. Antenna is plugged into my tuner. I already checked that out. I just want a simple solution. Buying and reinstalling a new antenna will be my last resort since routing in the 3rd brake light was a biotch.

How's it connected to the radio? I'm betting that's the problem.

It is a Sirius SIR-ALP1 tuner box. Connected via Ai-Net.
