Sirius Adaptor good on 9833?

Just as the title explains, will the Sir-alp1 work with my 9833? I know it is xm-ready, but has anyone had any issues with this? Would everything display properly if it does work? Thanks

I have the 9833 and the alp1 and it works just fine. The only issue is everytime you switch to satelite mode the display will say "xm radio" but only for a second or two. After that everything works perfectly.
