Single SA-8 600RMS......Round Port Length???

Hello,

I need help with port diameter + length...

The box will be .75 net with an external round port made of out of whatever i can buy at my plumbing supplier...abs/pvc

This box will be behind the seat in my reg cab 2005 GMC Canyon....

My SA 8 V2 was in a .6 cube box with a 5 foot 2" aeroport. I tuned it really lowwww, but you may not want to. A lower tuning frequency will not make it as loud. 2" PVC is what I would recomend using. I bought flared port ends for it

People correct me if I'm wrong here, but at 35hz you could go 2" diameter @ 8" length

Here is where I got that Subwoofer Enclosure Calculators, Parallel, Series, Port Length and Volume

So if it's wrong, we can blame that, not me haha

That isn't enough vent area for an SA-8. Even tuned low that isn't enough.

For that sub I'd do a minimum of a 3" vent and for 35Hz in 3/4 cube that's 18.5" long.
