Single sa-12 switching to two 10s. good or bad?

hey so i want a little more than my single sa12. its pretty good for a single setup but i miss having two subs. would it be a upgrade to go with a 2 10in setup? and would most likely be seal and i want to keep the same amount of space used for the sa12. currently 1.75 cu tuned 32hz on 900-1k wat daily. or if i can find a sub with small ported requirements i would do so.

any input from the experts?

yea but a box over 3cu wont even fit in my trunk. probably will give two dcons a try

Without knowing what vehicle this is in etc, with 1.75 cubes (gross or net?) you could possibly achieve better results over a wider bandwidth using a single SA10. If you are willing to spare more volume (have to put it out there!), you could DEFINITELY get more out of your SA12. It all comes down to how well your enclosure is engineered and subsequently built. My recommendation: take out a measuring tape, figure out what the MAXIMUM OUTER DIMENSIONS are (of an enclosure you are willing to put in there.....remember, you have to be able to get that size/shape object through the trunk opening to put it in its place) and submit a request to PWKdesigns.com. You'll get what you want if you don't tie his hands behind his back with stipulations that make it impossible to accomplish.
