Single L5 Solobaric Box Input Needed!!

Hey guys I'm gonna make a box for this 12" L5 sittin in my garage and run it at 2ohms about 500-600RMS. Its going in my girls civic so in the trunk. Who has experience any opinions on how many CuFt and what tune? I was thinkin mabie 2.6 @ 34 but I have NO experience with these solobarics so any info helps. Thanks

Thanks but design is easy i'm just pondering on how big and what tune gonna sound the best and get the loudest.

After all its going in a trunk there is no limited space... Specially for a box thats gonna be 3cuft or less...

If you dont know the answers to those questions, the design isnt easy as you say it is.

Lol ya i'm suppose to what the sub is gonna sound the best at from a design lol. Trial and error buddy... Figured someone has messed around with solobarics but guess not... Decided on 2.6 @ 34... Fits nice in trunk too. Don't need some dumbazz to type in my numbers i want to a box calculator and try to charge me for it...

Yea, but I would maybe think about tuning it more into the 32Hz area if youre looking for it to sound better..The 2.6 cubes should be a good bet though

yea that should work great just tune it more to 32 hz. i have a kicker 15" L5 running it with a zx750.1 and it pounds for what it is. right now i have it in i box thats 5 cu ft tuned to 32 hz and i love it. but i also had it in a sealed box that only had 1.5 cu ft and it also sounded great just didn't quite hit the lower notes. but i was still hitting 140.6 and with the ported box i hit 141.5 so i'm sure you could easily get close to the 140 range with that. it might not quite make it to 140 but you'll love it

Ya i thought about tuning it lower but i kinda want more output for all types music... And if i go bigger than 2.6 i'll probably get more lows but less output overall.. Its a hard choice lol

it all depends on what type of music you listen to. i just listen to straight rap so 32 works great for me. and i was trying to gain more db out of mine thats why i put it in such a big box but that kinda back fired. i dont know what i did wrong but i'm most likely going to be building a new box. or i'll sell my 15" L5 and get two 12" L7 and another amp to run them.

Ya this is gonna be all around... Rap, Rock, Hip hop, my girl even listens to country just not when i in the car heh...
