Considering the Alpine CD-105 in the FS section for maybe $75 and the cheapest 6.5" components I can find on Amazon. Rather help out someone here.

Single Din Sony radio stopped working all of a sudden
Check each speaker for shorts. A pinched wire grounding out or a individual blown speaker can sometimes make the internal amp go into protection.

Running a 4ohm single voice coil sub at 2ohm?
2x 4 ohm coils can be wired parallel to 2 ohms or series to 8 ohms. There's many amps with 2 ohm power you can use.
