Ok so heres my situation, i have 2 new alpine type r 10's and have built a box with a little better than 2.75^3 gross and should end up with about 2.5 after the 2 10's displacement. But how do i calculate the port size for 2 subs in a single box? EX. 12v.com slot port length calculator says---> 2"wide X 6"high = 9.77" long Box being 2.5^3 and tuned to 32hz. Would the 9.77" long port be the same for using both subs inside the same chamber/box or would i need to double my port's volume? Do you understand what im asking? help please.

Would an aero port be better? What size for my 2.5'3 box with the 2 10's and tune for 32hz. I have up to 8" diameter and can go 8" deep for my port. If you have one for for sell I'll buy it....

Ok well I went with 4" PVC pipe. 8.5" long for a 33-34hz tune. I rounded out and beveled the interior walls of the pipe both ends and made as support to hold the pipe in place so the wind won't move it. Once I get an amp to power my setup I will post my results to help other rookie box builders.
