Single cab setup sugestions?

Hey guys,

im just getting into car audio and i need some advise on what i should put in my regular cab truck to get more boom! Right now i have a 600w xplod powering my two 10" mtx subs. I wanna get a better system but im not too sure on what i should go with. I want it to hit hard! I dont have a lot of room so I was thinking maybe a 1000w hifonics amp to push two shallow 12" rf p3s but i dont know how well shallows sound. Any sugestions on a new system would be greatly appreciated!

I know a guy putting 3 15's in a single cab, don't have any more info than that unfortunately. He was playin music in the 50's range with 2 12's tho

Depending on what type of single cab truck you have and the room you have you can do a couple 10s or 12s ported back there. You could also do a trio sealed as well.

3-4 12s in a 4th or 6th order should do the trick nicely.

do some 8s... Shallow mounts are horrible and just a marketing gimmick. I have 3 8s behind the seat of my f150 and it is plenty loud.



I'm sure you could get a away with one maybe 2 and some decent power. *'s in the proper box should outperform shallow mounts any day.

I still don't see how he's got enough room for them, those trucks aint got that much room in them

I put 3-10 c-10s Kickers in a sealed box SVC 4ohm behind the seat of a single cab with an old school HC 44 Mean Machine, and was moving my pants legs standing at the door opened.Just my experience, suggestion
