I have been on this forum trying to learn some new stuff for a while now but one part i have never really looked at alot was the box building part. I just got 2 12'' re se's and i got a shop to build a box for me and its a little to deep and i have to have some more leg room. Im wanting to get some dimensions to do a ported box for just one of the subs . I have around 43 - 44'' width to work with , 8-9'' depth , and 13 1/2'' tallness unless i have to make it taller then i can take that little plastic piece off and go to the top of the window if neccesary. Should i go with a reg. ported box or do an aero ported box ? get me some plans going!

im going to lowes today to pick up my materials could someone please give me a complete list of everything i will need to make this box , and i still need a design or idea or something

if i use 2 4'' ports and have the dimensions .....

44'' wide

8'' depth

25.5'' height

and have the box stretching all the way across the back and have the sub mounted in the middle and a port on each side of the sub mounted on the top of the box what would be the volume ?
