I just want to know how to take out my car's cd player. It has a face plate in which I have taken off and I just need to get the part inside the car and I have no idea how to do it. I can't take it anywhere because it is immobile. Please just tell me what to do, if not, i'm just gonna jam a screwdriver and pop it out.

there are tabs in both sides, there are "keys" that you stick in there to get it out.

um. what kind of car is it first of all. most every car is different. some are easy, lots arent.

pontiac is a total pain in the ***. i hope you dont have a grand am. the whole dash piece that goes above the tach's and stuff needs to be un-clipped and un screwed. its NOT fun.
