Simple Question...

2004 Ford Explorer - STOCK head unit....

I do NOT want to change the head unit for asthetic purposes and I also want to keep my integrated steering wheel controls.

I DO want to clean up the shound a bit though. Here's my plan.

1. Junk the stock speakers and upgrade to quality x4

2. Get an amp to drive the 4 new speakers

3. Install the Ipod 2 Car system... I do NOT want to use aNy FM modulator

4. Upgrade the stock little 8" sub to include an amp to drive it.

Any suggestions within my parameters laid out?

get a real sub. If you amp that stock one it's going to go *pop*.

Yes, I meant to say that I will be upgrading that stock sub also.

Yea, Headunits make all the diffrence tho
