SIMPLE Laptop for the wife

Wife is into scrapbooking BIG TIME, and could use something to run one of her die cutting machines and surf the web. This looks OK to me, but Im far from a computer guy! Someone chime in??

Out of those two, the second one for sure.

I'm not too sure about his, but wouldn't a mac be good for scrap booking kinda stuff?

Those arn't laptops at all.... Just simple Netbooks... Good if you arn't gonna watch movie... or if u don't plan to load CD which could have her Scrap pictures on...

all pix are printed from main computer and sent to Walmart. For her needs (controlling her die cutter, getitng new fonts from a website etc.) I think it would do OK, just wondering if anyone has experience with something like this?

MOT, budget is under $400 or so. She has a computer in her scrapbook area (the basement) but needs a "notebook" to take to events and such.

a net book is not a NOTEbook. Netbooks are very small underpowered machines.

I would get a dell notebook from the small business side, Vostro 1000 can be had for less than $400 and is a full function laptop.
