Simple 1 cu.ft. ported box for Sundown E-10

just read thread if u wanta copy this box make port 1.5" wide so u have no more than 9" height to 1" width (make box shorter) like he said if u running low power it'll be ok as is..

Ill be slightly underpowering the sub with 400w rms but I still want to build a proper box. Can I just make that piece the woofer goes into .25" shorter instead and adjust the port dimensions all the way around? ie make that one piece .25" shorter and then move that back piece .25" in and make it .25" shorter.

If I do all that would it still be tuned to 32hz? I was going to just build a 1cf box and add aeroport but I have no idea how to properly calculate the hertz and aeroport lengths. Im clueless to box building. Sundown doesnt have the plans for the e series anymore.

no if u change width and height port has to be longer box has to be larger.. like he said it's fine for 400rms., only problem is if u ran 700 or so u can get port noise.. it'll be fine for your power man..

read last post.. here port calc.. put in cf after wood, port and sub sub disp it'll tell u how long port needs to be.. u get port disp like this 1.25x13h =16.25 is port area x length say 25" =406.25 divide by 1728 (1 cf) =.23 cf port disp.. Port Length Calculator

i know 1.25" port is to small.. u do remember u were the one insulting my prefab ported box that has 1.5" wide port right so stfu!

I'll stfu when you quit giving bad info and a box designer like shredder2.
