Silver Flute? full-range driver? diy-home audio project

I have a chance to pick up some silver flutes for REALLY cheap and was wondering if they were full-range? I might do some diy-home audio since the 360 is coming out. If they were full-range I wouldnt have to build a crossover for tweeters or could I use another manufacturers crossover?
