Silly Noob Question about wiring down to 1ohm

i have two svc 12" and one mono amp

if i wire two seperate speaker wires to each sub will it be the same as a 1ohm load?

will it even work?

yea 2 ohms is what u can get when u wire them together seprate and hook them to the amp.

i belive that u will get the full 500wrms since there not parallel/series to split the rms power between them

the both have to be going into the same outputs to acheve a 2 ohm load not in separet outputs

u would have to bridge it both negs to one neg output and both pos to one of the pos outputs it should be labled as whats bridged

to bridge it should be left + and right -

i dont know but im sure in the long run it would cause probs

one sub would be bridged and the other it would be like crossing channels left and right. not to sure but thats not what u want.

what kind of amp is it??? i know hifonics has that with internal bridgeing.
