This is a poll thread and I hope that I can get some opinions. Lately (again) the focus of signature advertising has been directed upon me, and no one else. Since this is such a BURNING issue on the forum (not), why is it just for me? Why? I have no idea, but the moderator who is once again deleting my posts doesn't care about the forum, just to ride my balls. I know this because a deleted post in the box thread was deleted in the middle of two other members who had advertising in their signatures. Am I complaining? No, not at all. What I am trying to do is understand WHY there should be no signature ads, and most importantly why mine is so critical to this one moderator. I could name 20 other members with advertisements, all of which have posted either before or after deleted posts of mine, which obviously means that it isn't important except to give me a hard time. So here's the question, and Goob can answer as well: should there be a rule against advertisements, and if so, what is the purpose? Goob doesn't make any money on having no ads, and the ads on the site don't pertain to many of the things people are selling.
