if the new mags are better spl wise than the old claw mags than it would be worth the money, i have the claw mags now and they get pretty loud, have yet to meter them though, hopefully i'll have time to someday cuz i would love to see what these monsters pull in...

Exactly. I have messed around with a whole bunch of subs and I put the Mag up there with the best. Some even prefer it to the W7.....and that costs HOW MUCH more?

Its everything a sub wants to be; its loud, yet musical, hits hard yet low and is flexible in terms of enclosure size. You also gotta remember weight - subs are becoming stoopid now 50+ pounds.......a single 12, box, amp, deadening and wires and you are carrying around teh equivalent of a small passenger all day long.

From what i've heard they perform very well in any enclosure. Tirefryr who is on this forum has it in 1 cube and 200 watts or something like that and says its plenty loud for him. it's in a truck too i believe.

Ryan I see you finally got a JBL BPX2200.1 let know how much ya got it for in a pm. Mags are awesome subs worth the money. I am only mad cause I just got a direct quote 2 weeks ago and now its gone up! I have never heard anything bad about the SI Mags, NEVER!

the new mags are .1 db louder drop in without being broken in i dont remember how much louder they got after they were broke in, but they were louder
