Yea i got up to a 153.2 on my meter at my house, but at finals i ran into some difficulys and only posted like a 152.x i think i dont remember bad weekend....

I changed my box just when i got metered but I would still consider it an SQ setup. I hit peaked at 141.3 with 1200rms in a 1.7cu ft sealed box at 36hz(IIRC), i think it was a TL mic but that day I hit anywhere from 139-141s. Mic on the passenger windshield, seats up and I drive a Galant. I had the gain the most i've ever used it at, 75%, and the sub didn't struggle at all.

With the V2 12" Mag I got 142dB straight outta the box in 2.5 cubes, tuned to 33, with a bd1500 (which kept cutting out!!!!!!!!), in a 4 door jeep. that's 142dB on the TermLab on teh screen too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Ryan doesn't work for us as far as him getting paid goes - he just gets the newsletters and really really likes our Mag's.

seans highest was 152.2 i believe that was with a bd1500 and 2 mags in the same size box as i had

The prices are going to be closer to what the subs are actually worth. Comparable subs sell for hundreds more. The mags at a slightly higher price are still the best deal out there.

Dang I didnt know how loud these things were I thought spl wise they were on par with an l7 or sx but with those scores from average people they must be able to out do them very impressed from a sq oreinted sub

Yeah, the mags are the best kept secret as far as subs go today. I honestly feel they are the best subs out there right now for the money.

IC. Well yea that is true. the Mag is definately a very good speaker that competes with or even beats some higher priced SQL subs

Yeah but if they are $500 a piece then why wouldn't people wait to see what the new xxx will do? Only $200 more! I also wanted a pair of SI Mags quoted a nice price from Nick two weeks ago. On the new info about an extra $300 or so I will wait to see what else comes out. If I am going to spend $1000 on a pair of subs it will have to boom like so... But for real it would have to be loud and sound awesome, which the mags do. Later

Because you can get 2 mags for the price of one of the new xxx's. Hope that answers your question.
