I'm plannin onf getting 2 12" Mags but i have sort of a problem. Since they are Dual 2 ohm i can't wire them to 1 ohm. my amp, audiobahn A1500hct ya i know you guys dont like audiobahn but i got it cheap. its rated at 1000w@ 2ohm but its prolly over rated. so id be able to do 500x2 to the subs. i will probably buy them and use the amp to see how it does and then purchase another one if i feel it needs to be done. i was thinkin about the do you guys know an amp that would go well, i'm lookin just to do one amp not two. i was thinkin the orion 2500d at 2 ohm. any ideas on where i could get one cheap, i searched before and found a site in one of the posts but i cant seem to find it again.

The SI and IA deal is over. Sorry guys but that ended last month.

You don't need to search for a 2k watt amplifier just to run our drivers. The 500 x 2 that you'll have will be plenty.

I had 300 watts each on mine temporarily and in a 28hz box they flexed..... well every part of my car, from the bowtie on the back to the grille up front, including the windshield.

500 would be well past enough for most people, and like Jntar said, if it's not enough, get a new amp later.
