Nice scores, I'm pretty fond of my SI Mag 15's as well. Each is 11ft^2 tuned to 15Hz.

very nice we have tubes like this at work that struts come in I have always wanted to do something with them but never would have thought of that amazing.

What kind of power, enclosure, vehicle, etc?

Burping with maybe 1500? give or take.. didn't have a chance to clamp the amp. Its a MA HK4kd but the gains are set VERY conservatively lol. in 4.1 cubes tuned to 40hz hehe. 1996 blazer (not sound deadened yet...soon to come =P). The enclosure was designed/built for my DD 95 but that didn't quite go so well. Figured I would drop the Mag in and see what it would do tuned so high.

I have previously had it sealed at 3.0, and ported at 3.2 @ 28, 3.5 @ 32, and also 4.0 @ 30. Of course Electrodynamics suggestion (3.5 at 32? or so) sounded the best and wasn't too far off SPL by ear comparison.

Looking at those tubes just made it about 10000 times harder to sell the mag...thanks dick =P

Sealed sounded very nice...but the ported enclosure @ 32 sounded pretty much just as good and the loudness difference was insane. Didn't have the TL back then, but if i ever get some spare time/money I'd definitely like to test it out.

I had one in 4 sealed... Sounded great. I'm in for a little more output, definitely don't need or want 2 of them ported.

Those Mags are very good all around speakers... loud, low, sound good, etc.
