HDC3 15".. Audioque 1200 enough power?

I am getting a HDC3 15" i am wondering if the audioque 1200 is enough power for that sub? if not what amp do you recommend? thanks

is it enough to get the sub moving? yes of course. Will it shock and amaze with that much power? no, not at all

It will work obviously, but you would be happier with the 2200.

if you go with the smaller one it'll work but if you want "stunting" power get the big bro like they recommended

When I ordered my copper coil hdc318 DJ said it'd handle the aq2200 fine.

if all you have is $250 than I would look for a PA A3000DB you will get about 1800+Wrms out of it

What matters the most is how you control the volume knob and your judgment of what is too much.

i found that pa amp pretty cheap so that would be my best bet with the hdc3 for the price?
