SI Mag 12" sealed question

Well I sold my diamond d6 to my brother and picked up a new SI Mag in the 12" persuasion. I talked to ben from low-hz when ordering and he recommended a 1.25ft^3 sealed enclosure pre-displacement. So I guess Im just looking to see what some other experienced mag users would recommmend as far as a sealed enclosure is concerned?

BTW Im really not interested in doing a ported enclosure at this time(thanks anyway) and power is from a diamond d5 1200.1 (benched at 1300ish watts @ 1 ohm)

Also would anyone happen to know what the measurement is across the mounting ring of the sub(outside diameter not cutout diameter)

yea i looked around there.

not really a big deal though as far as the box goes, its sealed after all. Just curious about other mag owners experiences with them thats all.
