What's "surround" about it, anyway?

Well, OK, I have surround, but like car audio, it's really all about the bass...about 15 seconds after liftoff the sound reaches the mics that are about 3 miles away from the launch pad...that's when my bass takes over and the house shakes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'd rather watch that stuff on the NASA channel - you don't have talking heads trying to come up with things to say because they don't know what they're talking about and can't use Twitter to get their news.

HDNet on DirecTV...the talking heads clam up about 30 seconds before launch and typically don't say anything until about 2 minutes into the flight...she weighs 4.4 million pounds at liftoff...and will have burned over 2.5 million pounds of fuel only 1 1/2 minutes after liftoff...freakin' unreal.
