ripping DivX

I'm not too keen on all the different formats and file extensions for videos, so maybe someone can help me out on this. Years and years ago, my parents bought one of the first DVD players to hit the market. Its was a Sony Proscan I believe. It didn't just play DVDs though, it also played DivX movies. They basically are like rentals. You pay $5 anytime you want to watch it (the DivX player is connected to the internet via a phone cord), or you can pay $20 and have unlimited views just as if it were a DVD. Well now that technology is obsolete and I still have 5-6 DivX movies. I still, however, frequently see DivX mentioned online. But from what I've read it doesn't appear to be the same thing I had. Thats irrelevant though. My question is, is there any type of software were I can rip these old DivX movies to either a DVD or some other form of video file? Preferably with menus and any extras features intact.

The DIVX rental system was created in 1998 in time for the holiday season and was discontinued on June 16, 1999 because of the costs of introducing the format, as well as its very limited acceptance by the general public. Over the next two years the DIVX system was phased out. Customers could still view all their DIVX discs and were given a $100 refund for every player that was purchased before June 16, 1999. All discs that were unsold at the end of the summer of 1999 were destroyed. The program officially cut off access to accounts on July 7, 2001.

DIVX appeared on PC World's list of "25 Worst Tech Products of All Time" in 2006 (as a "Dishonorable mention")

I use DVD shrink to copy DVDs i rent and borrow. you think itll actually work for DivX movies? i think im using an older version of DVD shrink. IIRC, the newer one i tried to download was askin me to pay for it lol.
