K, I am almost sure im buying a 12" set off Dreid.. $450 for both shipped, seems OK to me..

So someone please tell me about them, all I know is that they are **** good for SPL, many have told me that.. I plan on running 1200 watts to each for comps, i think a 6 cu ft box.. Just share whatever u know about them, power handling, box type, pro's, con's... WHATEVER u know..

U will Be shocked how loud those are, thats how i think they got there name. I got the SS, and its loud as hell.

Im guessing u run it for daily? (35 hz) How muddy is it really? This will be for comp's but I will prob. want to bump it sometimes for reg driving, just to add at least a little bass..

Well 2 12"s should move more than a single sub, plus i dunno about the other persons setup... I just think the extremes have way more potential than the a's..

Hey if you are going to comps you should get 2 d2s one to each sub if you have enough money! that will put up some good #'s depending on how well u build ur box!

I have a SS 15", and its shockers lowest line sub, but its pretty **** loud, louder than anything i ever used. My box is tuned to 35, and with rap music, i turn the bass gain up to +2 to make it sound good and hit hard, rock i put it on -2 to make it sound good.
