Shivas **** testicals

Of course i don't mean that, ive never heard a shiva but would like to hear about them.

now ive got your attention so any reply would be great.

i am looking into small box spl subs and have heard that Shiva's are great. are they. i have a 1000 watt amp right now and am thinking of upgrading my system. my current subs are the ones that **** the testicals.

Personally, I have never heard them in person but Mark_ab submitted an excellent review that can be found here:

I was told by DW that 12's would be great with about 1.5 cf sealed (~400rms). I'm all sq (and simplicity) so I don't know about ported.

Well, you can get test sheets off the site (http://www.adireaudio.com) but if not mistaken most use a 2.5 cuft. . . that isnt exactly a "small enclosure"

i have to disagree here. a lot of people regard the 12w3 as a small box woofer, no? i just got the t/s's from jl, and adire, and plotted the two side by side. as you can see, the shiva is yellow, and the w3 is blue. the shiva comes in at ~.3 cubes smaller for an optimum box than the 12w3, even tho jl reccomends 1.5-1.75 for their subs.

No that explained the slightly diff look to the program box you posted up.LOL Is why I was curious what you had....thanks a lot man
