Shipping

That was what I was told by someone else but the shipper wants to wait. I know this isn't his fault but I paid for the item back on May 23rd and at almost $400 I just want to make sure I get my money back.

Then the shipper is being an ***. There is no reason you should be out the money while the claim is handled. Chances are he spent the money you gave him, so he doesn't have the money until the refund is done. You should tell his name, so I don't do a deal with him.

X3 save others the frustration

Ok well my intentions was not to give the shipper a bad name so I do not think it is fair for me to tell who it is until he has a chance to resolve it. Believe me I want the item I purchased not the money back, but fed ex had other things in mind.

I said in the PM I was willing to wait until June 11th which is Wednesday for the trace to be complete. Which I already know they are not going to find it, it was supposed to be delivered on May 31st and has not had a tracking update since May 29th. Then I would expect a full refund. I think from what I have heard and what you guys are saying is more than fair.

I would expect a swift refund from the seller. It is the sellers responsibility to handle the claim and wait for the money.
Absolutely! If/when the claim is complete, the seller, not you, will recieve the money from Fedex.

You may never even know if/when the shipper gets the money.

I say you call him out on here.

It has become common practice for the Seller to take it in the *** on this type of deal.
He may not have the cash, I know I sometimes sale so I can buy the next thing.
Well you shouldn't buy until your sale is final and in the hands of the buyer. It's not just simply "common practice" it's just plainly the proper thing to do.

Well I said I would wait until the 11th and I am still getting the same line that he wants to wait until the claim is fully processed and he is getting run around from Fed Ex, because he does not have my money anymore. I just wanted to make it public so everyone knows what is going on here.

I paypal'd dB Dom on May 23rd for the Incriminator Audio 20.1 that can be found in this thread

He has been great with responding back to my emails and he shipped the item in an acceptable amount of time which was May 27th the Fed Ex tracking number is/was 581268210000269 . As you can tell by the tracking number Fed Ex has their heads up their ***** and they have no clue where it is at. But from what I gather from you guys and others that it is the seller's responsibility to handle the claim not mine.

I really want the IA 20.1 not the money but I do not think that is going to happen, let me rephrase that is not going to happen. At this point I just want my money which was $375. I know this is not his fault that it got lost but this is his deal and his responsibility.

I called Fed Ex they placed a trace on the package last week, they called today and spoke to my fiance and said they could not locate the package and that the Seller is filing an insurance claim, sorry I left that out.

Most if not all "company" contracts say FOB Dock, Meaning that when shipping picks it up it is then your problem from then on.

You ever Decide to only insure for say $200 to save money? What happens when the $500 product gets lost, Seller supposted to cover the Full $500 or just the $200. It is a hard spot for both Parties.

Once the Seller has turned it over to the shipping company his part is done, But most companies out of good will go ahead and cover it.

If the Seller makes a claim to paypal, they say that the Tracking number covers the Seller and from there it becomes the Buyers problem.
