Shipping to unconfirmed address

They will still hold your account negative and like any financial/credit institution report it to your credit history. Banks and other financial institutions have the law on their side. It is best to cross your T's and dot your I's before conductiing business in an effort to cover your *** completely.

Oh and this exact situation happened to me, I sold a bunch of phones and everybody but one person said they received their phone. The person that didn't receive their phone filed a complaint with ebay (even though I did ship it) but I couldn't provide a tracking number since it was mailed regular usps and i didn't get insurance. Now my paypal account is -$400 and i'm pretty sure he did receive his phone...

Was his paypal address confirmed? Nothing you can do about a negative on Ebay, but if Paypal emails you that he filed a complaint then as long as his address you shipped to is confirmed with Paypal then all you do is show them the delivery confirmation and your good.

send him the confirmation number. paypal wont do anything to you as long as you can prove you shipped it, thats what the confirmation number is for.

why don't you just not use paypal? have him send you a money order, or certified check. you cash it, and there shouldn't be any problems.

Guys I already shipped him his item. I recieved the money. It was supposed to get there yesterday and he says he hasn't gotten it yet. I mailed it out with delivery confirmation.

go to usps.com, type in your confirmation number, then look at the status, does it say delivered?

IF in the case he files a chargeback, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO, when paypal emails you, is fight it by typing in the confirmation number to a form you will get from paypal. Simple as that. If they see you had a confirmation number, you should be fine.

no problem, i hate fukin scammers. i got scammed off some fiberglass dvds because i didnt use delivery confirmation. stupid me.
