shipping - just a question

If you were set to receive a package with a $300+ piece of equipment in it and you were not going to be home for several hours after it would be delievered, would you make arrangements, eithe rby calling the shipper or leaving a note for the driver requesting the package not be left at your door, especially if you lived in an condo complex withe neighbors right next door?

If teh package was deleivered and then taken, wouldn't that be on the receipient?

I used to live in some low rent apartments, When the ups came buy and some one wasn't home it was christmas for the tweakers.
