He is right. PayPal does protect the buyer at the expense of the seller. It is a well known fact that sellers are the ones who take it in the *** when a deal goes south, regardless of who is at fault. PayPal does not care one bit about the sellers terms and conditions of the sale. They know that if you want to sell your stuff on eBay, you have to take PayPal payments. It is the biggest hose job, criminal, monopolistic scam known to man. Unless you sell stuff that you make 100%+ profit on, you are dumb for selling on eBay.

Thousands of buyers have lost their money using paypal on ebay. I think I heard that paypal has starting holding the money until the item is recieved, if that's the case it will certainly help prevent that.

i had a situation on here with louisiana crx he gave me money for something and oi withdrew it immediately and he put a hold on my payapl because it was missing a cord but there was no money in paypal so there would have been nothing he could have done about it. i obviously returned the money to him for the cost it would take to get the missing cord

they have begun to hold the money when ebay isused.. but when the amount is large... but if u send a payment to someone..they can take the money out ie.. me sendin u money...

I just sold a psp on ebay, and my paypal is on hold. The guy is from Los Angeles, and has no feedback... I'm so scared hes going to rip me off. I looked up his neighborhood, and it has bars on the windows n shit. I swear if paypal rips me off I'M!!! not going to be able to do anything about it. I didn't know they were doing this payment hold bs, I felt like I was being blackmailed so I sent it out. I just hope it works out.

They say I get my money 4 days after delivery has been confirmed.

I would like to meet these buyers that have lost their money. I know for certain that sellers get it in the butt all the time, but I have never lost a buyer claim. As long as you are buying from a Verified seller, you have no risk as a buyer. Even in the off chance they send you a brick in the box instead of your woofer, just file a claim with PayPal and you will get your funds back. I have had to do it many times before and never had one issue getting my money back. I have over 10,000 PayPal transactions over time and not once have I lost a buyer claim. Now on the other hand, I have been ***** pretty hard as a seller. It is hard to win a chargeback as a seller.

You haven't seen all the times on here buyers have won a paypal dispute but couldn't get any money because the seller didn't have it in their account?

then they forward it to a collection agency and they will get at least 200 out of every item

Hell no. It's flawed all around. I've been burned buying before, and there was nothing I could do about it. The guy was a scammer and knew the system.

I know it's easier for a buyer to do something like a charge back with his credit card, or send back some stuff that is broken, and is not the product you sent and get away with it.

I didnt't screw anyone over man. If you bid for something on ebay then you pay if you win. You dont say I will pay you when I get it. Sorry if he is makin me sound like a dick, but you should probably see it from my perspective.
