Shaved Antenna: Window Antenna Tape?

I shaved my radio antenna, and I would like to know where I might be able to buy some copper tape (I think it's copper? maybe brass...) that is inlaid in OEM windshields/rear windows for a radio antenna? I've ridden in a newer Honda Civic with the integrated antenna in the rear window, and radio reception was great. I know that I can't just put conductive strands on the window and expect it to work, but I would like to know where I might be able to buy the raw materials needed, and maybe get a primer on how to design an antenna like this. I don't mind fabricating whatever I need from scratch, and would start out with the design on the Civic and see how that works, but I would like to know how to design antennas for different width windows, where/what to buy, etc.

Thanks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have seen some people relocate their factory antenna to under the hood along the fender with some success. If it works I'd rather do something like that then put crap in the windows.
