There is a fellow on here that has 2 strapped @4ohms on 2 solo x's. Maybe 2ohms Idk?
@IonRL205 ;
yea thats him. he said he tried them at .5ohm and they did well just got hot as expected. ive talked to him before.

These are APSM clones, don't do near rated power clean, and there's no warranty as far as I can see..... You get what you pay for.
I'm okay with that lol for the price well worth it.

But by APSM you mean audiopipe? Sorry if that sounds ignorant just don't know what the acranam means

Yes that's correct.. And the APSM 1500 clamped 400w before it started distorting, I'd hardly call that "worth it"... That's how you damage your equipment -- especially subs.

Eh I've ran a few Ap amps 1500d and 3000d had two of each never once have I blown a single sub on either and with sub par electrical at best when I owned them I've had nothing but good expirences distorted or not personally never noticed a difference at all and im sure my xfls will be fine with a little abuse (if that's the case) I'll be plenty happy with 4000 watts of potential "dirty" power for less than 200 bucks so to each his own I've read they are beefier than Audiopipe tho when I've opened my AP amps I was fairly impressed personally doesn't look any less than my t2000 or my jbl amps

the apsm's are actually the clones, the sharks came out a while back in a small run //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I ran both of the vvme(1500&1800) amps on my xfl 12s for probably a month each and my ph4000 and they both had shiny golden coils when I sold them last week so......

As a matter of fact my buddy is still runnin the vvme1500 on my ole xfls now so Ill try to get yall a coil pic if I can get him over here to try one of the shark amps.

@ everyone in this thread:

AudioPipe APSM-2000. T-Fade edition. - Car Audio Classifieds

1800w at 0.5 ohms... distorted all to hell... efficiency less than 50%.. Yeah, I'll be staying away from the APSM and anything related to it.

I've seen people run 2k to a single XFL with no problems so that's not saying much lol

I love when people are not afraid to back companies like audiopipe and such admitadly they are not the best and will produce a little dirty power but at the same time are CEA compliant. And will sure enough do rated and I don't believe that just because its slightly dirty that it will damage anything as long as your electrical supports it.

I've never once ruined a sub on an AP amp and I've used them on everthing from Walmart duals to Ap eye candy to W7s to t1s and HCCAs I got as loud as expected to the ubs limits and coils have always read fine when undecided to get rid of said sub's even some audiobahns from their golden era they were 10 years old and I used a DMM to set geins
