You just want to argue with everyone on here that post something that you don't agree with. You are what's happened to this (and many others) forum. Bash bash bash is all you want to do. I'm sure your setup out the bow was 5K+ with the best of everything. Move the fu(k on with you opinion and let your opinion be just that.
This is a great "starter" amp to get you going. Not something I would keep as my full time amp. I have one, and used it for a couple months till I got my AQ3500 (is that amp ok with you Tenacious???). Now it sits in a box as a "back up". It was wired to .5 on a 15" and worked real well for what it is. I'm sure it did real close to rated, but they do run hot regardless of what it's wired to. Take my experience with it for what it is.

No offense tenacious but what is your issue with budget amps? You push so hard for people not to use them but I don't get why. You haven't presented any factual evidence against the shark amp except that you think they're similar to audio pipe and a friend blew a sub on an audio pipe. Doesn't seem like a strong argument.

I get if you're trying to steer someone away from making a possibly bad choice but youre at the point of insulting people and throwing around opinions as if they were facts.

I don't run anything that I'd consider budget but if people want to run it I have no problem. The only issue I have is when people tout their budget items as superior to higher quality ones. If people buy these budget items knowing their limitations then more power to them.

These amps are the same as AudioPipe, various clamp tests and real world information shows that the AudioPipe APSM amps are ****, so yes, I do have a basis for my bashing of AudioPipe (shark in this case)

Did you perform clamp tests along with oscilloscope readings to prove that these amps do clean power? If not then no one cares about your opinion either.

That's just it. YOU don't have any personal experience with it. They are not the same board, or amp. There has NOT been any bench testing of the Shark amp (that Ive been able to find online) other than my own from actually running one. Which is more than you can say. You may have read somewhere that they are the same but again you've never owned, ran, or seen one so you really have no clue. Giving out all this false info to people that you have idea is true cause you yourself have never done the testing.
