that was a very dumb trade. why in the hell would they dump Shawn Marion, who has been playing OUTSTANDING over the past couple years, for shaq, who well we all know is at the end of his great career.

Shaq just wont be able to keep up with that high paced offense.

we shall find out.... I dont think the suns were the best place for him, bc they are too fast paced

True...I did want to see Shaq go to a different team, just not Phoenix..... Totally not the right fit for him

not the right fit at all but he will more than likely be sitting most of the season with his injuries and how outta shape he is... another good thing for the heat if this goes through is that marion doesnt have much time left on his contract so if he dont work out he can be shipped out and not leave the heat crippled wit the salary cap

Marion has made it known he wanted out of Phoenix. He has requested on more then one occasion to be traded.

It will, but I don't see Miami getting much better.

This was clearly a salary cap move. Most likely Marion opts out after this season. Shaq has 2 years left at 20 million per. There wasn't many options for Miami. Perhaps they can build around Wade and Marion, but I don't know if Marion or Wade want to do that.

Yeah i knew he wanted out. But i figured Phoenix would do a little better job bringing in someone that would make an impact like he does. Shaq just will not fit that role. he could hardly play the half court game miami plays. there's no way in hell he'll be able to run with the suns.
