I own a 86 Chevy Caprice, and have Dynamat Extreme:crap: and bolts still come lose:furious: . I still have more ratting and shaking louder than the bass itself. I own 15 inch JL old school w6 subs. Anyone one drive a Caprice and have the same problems? What should I do now?

well i know what could get rid of the rattle.... u could get a car that isnt 20 years old... less 15's.... more dynamat.... or take everything apart and put it back together so u know that it is nice and tite.... that is all that i can suggest.... the last one being the wisest. and if u wanted u could take off the quarter panels and dynamat the inside of those if it is bad as it sounds..... try what u can till ure happy with how it sounds... keep us updated...

Really depends on what is coming loose, what is rattling, and what is rattling because it's coming loose ? If it's sheet metal rattling against sheet metal. Put some dynamat, or some form of closed cell foam in between if possible. If the rattling panels are together. Your probably going to have t add more layers of deadening to these areas. If bolts are coming loose, and thus panels vibrate because of this. Get you some loctite and put everything back together. I believe the blue is the strongest, red holds but not as long as blue. ( I think ) Green is a specialty version for something that I can't remember right off hand. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
