Well, if it works for you, then it works for you.
And there are no lanes in my area, closest is over 3 hours away.

So spending hundreds on dynamat/secondskin/allothertypesofdeadening basically isn't going to make your car any louder on the inside?

And how is an extreme car and a street car any different when it comes to trying to deaden for extra deebeez?

Doesn't matter if you compete or not - but you can't give definitive answers on what does and doesn't work in the lanes if you haven't been in them.

Street or wall, what works where is completely system and vehicle dependant. You just have to find out what works. You can deaden your car and lose... and you wouldn't be the first one. It could not matter, it could gain you... there is no way to say for sure.

It works on the same theory as why opening a door gains most people. You seal up the wrong leaks and poof, score goes down.
