- I know suv's are typically louder then cars. And it's in an suv.

- 3 Memphis P.R. 15's -on right amp - ported box

- 2 Memphis P.R. 15's - on right amp - ported box

And let me clarify, this isn't for rattling peoples vehicles, etc. like a lot of foolish teens do around here. We have sound competitions in parking lots and etc. And there's some guys with stuff out there that shake their whole car. I'm looking for something loud enough, to where they can be sitting in their car listening, and it will shake the crap out of their vehicle also.

if you want to shake other people's cars... just get on the roof and jump up and down.

Then again, I remember someone doing that to an undercover cops car... some not so undercover cops came and took him away.

Was fun while it lasted.

LOL. Does that someone happen to be you?

For ''shaking people's cars'', it really doesn't take much. A decent 10 with 500rms will vibrate other people's mirrors, 3 15''s with 1000-1500 watts would easily do it. The PR series are great for the money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

It was years ago, but I remember it being some punk kid. Now that I think of it, he spit on the car too, lmao...

Doesn't matter what size sub you get or how many. It can be done with one 15" XXX or one 18" MT for sure. It depends on your setup. Some guy I know had two 15" CVRs in a sealed box, trunked car (toyota camry). When he turned it up that shit rattled like crazy! Sounded like mine, I was like wtf. Popped the trunk and he had two 15" CVRs.

At the car show I went to there was this one guy there that sounded loud as **** that left me thinking "dammn this guy is gonna shit on me when we go meter our cars". He hit 146.0 and I hit 150.6, so really I shitted on him but to the ear he sounded much louder because he was trunked and all that rattling left everybody thinking he was loud.

Question- How much space do those subs need to be in a good ported box?

i do that with 2 15s and ~3600watts, really is box dependent //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
I do that with 2 12" memphis subs in a 4dr corsica //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif its all box dependant. Im only running 600 watts and I lost my rier view mirror (several times gave up putting it back on)

I do it fairly well with 1 15" L7 in a 4.5ft^3 box tuned to 35hz.. Only running 900 watts to it.. I can sit in someone elses vehicle parked beside mine and it rattles theirs sometimes.. You can feel the seat vibrating in their vehicle also..
