Ok, so some guys over @ ******.org are contesting wether this is a photoshopped image or a real-life customization of the climate control positioning.

I think the installer did a damn fine job, please prove these people wrong!!!!!

it's real---you can just barely see the reflection of the hand holding the camera plus the rear part of the custom piece. looks awesome in MHO

That's either real, or one HELL of a photoshop job. Blowing it up, the lines integrate too well into the background to call it photoshop. There's a lot of subtle conture (sp?) that I don't think you'd catch as well in photoshop...

But, it COULD possibly be done if you've got someone who really knows what they're doing, in which case I'm as impressed with the photo editing as I would be with the work in making the real thing.

i'd say its fake. if he had fiberglassed that, unless it was an abosolutely flawless job, one would be able to notice the transition from bondo to plastic. also, if he glasses and bodyfilled that, he would've had to paint the entire piece, even the parts that weren't bondoed. if the piece was painted again, i dont think the logos the red arrrows point out in the picture would be visible. just my observations and guess........

I say real. I can see where he transitioned peices together. And those indented logos or whatever you want to call them, I can do a job and leave those intact.

looks real too me. Why not have the maker post more pics from different angels? also, the gray paint on the piece in question does not mach the gray plastic piece on the sun visor too the right.

anyhow, how deep is the climate control? looks real and all, but what's the depth on the unit before it hits the roof/windshield?

that plastic pice with the logos, looks to be apart of the light fixture. that snaped in to the fiberglas pice. but cant tell if the thing is fake or not

man if that is fake people have WAY too much time. I dont even see why this should be a controversy, or if it was fake, why the guy who did it could even think of how to make a controversy over it.
